Show OGDEN MERCHANT IS BROUGHT IN LINE BY WASHINGTON A rording to information siven out in Salt Lake by W. F. Jensen, commissioner com-missioner of commercial economy for Utah, odp Ogdn merchant has received re-ceived a telegram direct from Washington. Wash-ington. D. C because be had stated that he would not comply with the new order concerning deliveries of goods. It was stated that the merchant mer-chant had said that he would not obey the order until he was told to do so by ' those higher up" than tho local state commissioner and his deputies. Commissioner Jensen has a telegram from Washington advising that the, matter had received the attention of the higher-ups, and It also quoted the telegram -aid to have been sent to the Ogden merchant. It was stated by the commissioner, however, that the merchant mer-chant had decided to obey the order, even before he had been warned from Washington. The telegram which the national or- ! ganization sent to the Ogden merchant , was as follows: "The war situation necessitates the request that your delivery' service be 1 adjusted to conform to the plan adopt - j d by ugdon merchants and Indorsed by W. F. Jensen, commissioner of commercial economy. "The entire practicability of the plan has been demonstrated.
