Show I Fill REPORT ON EXEMPTION WORK Tho final report of the exemption board of Weber county to Provost Marshal Mar-shal General E. H. Crowder, as required re-quired by the war department, has been made out and sent In. The work was accomplished last night after the three board members, W. H. Lowder, ' A. C. Call and Alma Peterson, and a! clerk, Ed Lewis, had worked industriously indus-triously for three days on the report. It gives, in addition to the report on the men called and examined for tho first draft, information concerning the other registrants of the county. The city has six days to complete its report, because it fell under the classification of districts with less than 0000 and more than 1000 men. The result of the draft in Weber county, as shown on schedule "A," Is as follows: Total number registered, 767; quota for the district, GO; called for examination, 240; failed to appear, 6; accepted on physical examination,, 193; rejected on physical examination, I 70; failed to report to camp, 0; rejected re-jected at camp. 16. The results, a3 shown in another schedule of the final report, are: Reg- Istered, but not called, 527; called but not accepted, 165; called and accepted, 75; total registered, 767; total called, 240. Of the total number called for examination, 224 were native citizens, 15 were aliens and 1 was an alien with first papers. The report shows no naturalized nat-uralized citizens as among those called for examination. |
