Show SERIOUS CHARGE MAY I BE PLACED AGAINST ARRESTED MAW- i i Antonio Balussarus, 52 years old and of frowsy appearance, was arraigned in municipal court this morning on the p charge of vagrancy, but his case was i continued until tomorrow morning for !j Investigation Into a more serious of- 1 fense, In default .cvf 50 bond, ho was remanded to jail. 1 Balussarus was arrested Saturday ? afternoon by Detective Emmett near 3 Lester park. His conduct, it is alleg- j ed, was of an unusually vulgar charac- v ter and the officers will undertake to push his prosecution with considerable ; vigor. The vagrancy aharge was plac- ed against him to hold him pending i the assembly of additional evidence. E John Mucker, about 75 years old and R described by Officer Richardson, who j( 1 made tho arrest, as a "professional moocher" was given two hours to get out of town. Mucker says he arrived in Ogden from' Salt Lake City, Satur- day evening, was broke and "hit sev- i oral men" for monev to buy food. Ho became angered when Officer Richard- son took him into custody and he in- r? dulged in a volume of profane abuse. i James Murdock, arrested at Morgan and returned to Ogden, was arraigned on a charge of petit larceny. He ap- ). peared by his attorney and entered a plea of not guilty. Ho will be tried to- morrow morning. It Is alleged he l stole an overcoat. |
