The particulars of the sad affair aie about as follows: Miss leuiiug went up to Park City Sonday to visit for a time with Miss Mildred Hosmer. Sunday evening the two girls were calling on the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Goist who live in tbe depot. The girls were upstair in the building and in going down the stairs carrying a lamp, Miss Deming stumbled and fell dropping ths lamp and falling with it to the bottom of the stairs. The lamp did not explode but the blaze set fire to her clothes and tbe was soon enveloped in flames. She ran through the building and out Into tbe street. Tbe breeze fanned tbe flames and when she reached the street all her clothing was burned off. Two meu happened to be passing and they took off their coats and wrapped around tbe girl. She was taken to a neighbors bouse and doctor summoned. Word was telephoned to Coalville and Mrs. Deming left at once for Pe Park. Mies Hosmer, who was just two steps below Nellie, was also burned. Her dress caught fire and before tbe blaze was extinguished her right arm was quite badly burned. Miss Deming whole body was severely burned, and the terrible shock to faer nervous system was the cause of her death. The doctors and those in attendance did all in their power to save the yoong lady, but to ne avail and she pasted away at the hour stated above. Her audden and untimely death it most severe blow to the parents, and over the they are nearly heart-brok- en ad affair.
