Show PQCATELLO B POCATELLO, Idaho, Sept. 5. Mrs. A. M. Newton and her father Col. Par-sons Par-sons have returned from a trip through B tho northwest, made particularly to pay a visit to Captain Newton of the medical corps stationed at Camp j Lewis. Several days were spent at tiie camp. They bring the news that Cap- B tain Lewis has been called for ovcr- AVfl seas duty. H In an effort to make everybody work ASH the police department has notified all idle women in the city to either work kVB or leave the city. A few were charged B with vagrancy, some left the city and H others found employment. The city H was far from being over-run with idle H women, but the officers learned of a H few who were doing nothing, so decid- H ed to make a round-up, which was H done with good results. I Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Schaoffer and daughter have gono east with the intention in-tention of locating in one of the cities. They will visit relatives of Mr. Schaf-v Schaf-v fer in Indianapolis and later will go to Detroit where they will perhaps make their home. J. Rob Brady and M. E. Hughes are spending a few days in Mountain Home looking after the interest of the late Senator James- H. Brady. |
