Show sew of cm 1 I KIM OF S4KJ18 Receipts and disbursements of tho Ogden city school system for the fiscal fis-cal year ending June 30, 1318, amounted amount-ed to just $455,119.83, according to a financial report filed Thursday night by the clerk of the board at a meeting meet-ing of the board of education. Ogden city district school taxes, state school taxes, state high school taxes and bonds woro the chief sources of revenue reve-nue and the disbursements were made for teachers' salaries, new buildings, tetx books, furniture, etc. The salaries of teachers at the high school reached $36,6C6.76 while the total expense for operation at the school was $41,800.93. The installation of the high school cafotcria cost $3,176.23 while the profit derived from the cafeteria was $1,-37S $1,-37S 75. The cafotcria next season will bo less expensive, it Is expected, as j thero will need to be no new equip ment Installed. For new buildings and improvements improve-ments at schools $184,334.95 was spcnL The larger part of this amount was used to remodel the Mound Fort school. The board also decided to dedicate Goddard avenue. The land occupied by this street was purchased jointly some time ago by the city schools and tho city. The street was later opened. no |
