Show I U-BOAT LOSSES ARE DECREASING Only 14 Large Ships Are Sent to Bottom in the Past LONDON, Nov. 1. Fourteen British merchantmen ovox 1600 tons were sunk by mine or submarine in the. last week, according to the admiralty report re-port last night. Four vessels under 1,600 tons were also sunk, but no fishing fish-ing craft. The British losses of mercantmen show a considerable decrease as compared com-pared with the previous week, when seventeen vessels over 1,600 ions and eight under that tonnage were sunk.
