Show FIGHTERS RETURNING TO THEIR HOMES WITH JOY "I don't know where I'm from, but I sure know where I'm going," said one of'about a hundred men discharged discharg-ed from military service as they rushed rush-ed into the canteen at the Union De-j pot this morning, and registered the! name of their home town in tho record which is kept there. About twenty-five were sailors from off tho U. S. S. Hart, and merry sailors sai-lors they were, joyous with the thought that they were through, had done their duty, and were going home. Several Salt Lake men went through this morning, mostly from Camp Mc-Arthur, Mc-Arthur, Texas, and the telephone was busy with the hurried calls to their friends in Ogden. That men are now arriving from overseas was evidenced by the fact that one young chap at the canteen this morning, going to his home in Honolulu, was a member of the famous Royal Flying squad, and had received his discharge. He siated that thero were several hundred Americans, discharged dis-charged from service, who came to this country on the same boat with himself. |
