Show anoWIelIuit filed agist standard . Attorney A. R. Barnes, formor attorney at-torney general, and G. I. Iverson, his associate, today filed by mail with the county clerk a complaint against tho Standard signed by Frederick W. Chambers, former state fish and game commissioner, duplicating tho complaint com-plaint of W. J. Lynch, alleging libel in the publication of the news of Governor Gover-nor Bamberger's investigation of stato affairs in the previous administration and an editorial of February 16 on the subject of the promised disclosures. Mr Chambers swears that he handled han-dled about $35,000 annually for the stato and that tho publications complained com-plained of caused hira damage to the extent of $50,000. |
