Show FIFTEEN DAYS FOR STElLlffi II. Antonia Roobugnr was sentenced this morning by Municipal Judge George S. Barker to serve fifteen days at hard labor. Ho was found guilty of potlt larceny, having stolen $15 from John Dolmorgo, a patient at the Doe hospital, Saturday. The money was recovered by Superintendent W. W. Rawson of tho hospital, who caught Roobugar before he could leave the building, searched him and held him until the arrival of Detective Robert Chambers. Edward Farrell, who stole some bedding bed-ding belonging to a Japanese laborer Saturday, was also given a fifteen-day sentence. He was arrested by Patrolman Patrol-man T. J. Paine. Robert Gagan, an alleged drunk, forfeited for-feited $5, and Mlko McCann, who pleaded guilty to drunkenness, was sentenced to serve five days In jail. W. H. Mohler was fined $5 for riding rid-ing a motorcycle on tho Bldewalk, and Stanley Blchsel, charged with operating operat-ing an automobile without proper license li-cense numbers attached, forfeited $5. The cases of tho state of Utah vs. F. Thomas and Tom Shugrue were W for May 10 for preliminary hearing. The defendants are charged with grand larceny, it being alleged that they stolo W. E. Corey's automobile last Thursday night. The men were captured on the Rlverdale road, after the stolon automobile had gone Into 'the ditch, by Sergeant T. H. Blackburn. |
