Show I TROOPS TO PARADE SUNDAY, AT 5 O'CLOCK, WHEN ALL OGDEN WILL SAY FAREWELL TO BOYS IOgden's farewell pnradc of battery B, First Utah artillery, Is to take place Sunday afternoon, starting at 6 o'clock, and at the conclusion of the march through Ogdon's business district dis-trict the soldiers will be reviewed at the city hall park by Mayor Hoywood, Major Kneass, Chairman J. Edward Carver of tho Red Cross and other officials. of-ficials. The plan to hold the parade Sunday was decided upon this morning, after a conference between Mayor Heywood and Captain J. Ray Ward of the battery, bat-tery, for notice has been received that tho battery will probably be instructed to entrain either Monday or Tuesday morning. Arrangements for tho event include the marching of tho battery, headed by the Ogden municipal band and followed fol-lowed by the Southern Pacific band, through a part of the business district, the parade distnnco being short but of sufficient extent so thnt every person per-son in Ogden can havo the opportunity opportun-ity of witnessing this final showing of tho Ogden soldiers. Where Parade Will Form Tho parado will form at the armory, Twenty-four street, near Lincoln avenue, ave-nue, movo south to Twenty-fifth street on Lincoln avenue, cast on Twenty-fifth Twenty-fifth streot . to Washington avenuo, north on Washington avenue to Twenty-third street, and countermarch to tho city hall park, where the reviewing re-viewing stand will bo placed. In behalf of the citizens of Ogden, the mayor is to make a brief address to the soldiers and bid thorn "goodbye." "good-bye." Following the parade, the usual Sunday evening band concert will be given at the park. |
