Show Park-Bingham Work Not Interrupted By Recent Fire Work at the Park-Bingham mine will go on as usual despite the fire of last week which destroyed the change room, compressor room and blacksmith shop at the mouth of the Butterfield tunnel. Although the compressor room was badly damaged, work was resumed by the night shift due to the courtesy of the United States Smelting, Mining and Refining company which is supplying sup-plying the Park-Bingham mine with air from its adjoining property. Property damage will not amount to a great deal as the buildings destroyed destroy-ed were old and the equipment was well insured. Amount of damage to the compressor will not be known until the debris can be cleared away. With sufficient air from the United States mine production can be maintained main-tained as usual. |
