Show SIEEPM1 1 IT HEARD OF THE DRIFT Bcrtrand Anshordoguy, a Frenchman, French-man, came to the office of the city exemption board this morning to learn his status in the new draft army. Anshordoguy Ans-hordoguy did not register, in fact he claimed to know nothing about the draft, and showed affidavits which he had sworn to showing that his intentions in-tentions were good, but his negligence had resulted from ignorance. The Frenchman docs not speak any English Eng-lish and was located out in the hills near Grand Junction, Colo., at tho I time of registration, j A countryman learned that he had not registered and explained the re-' re-' qulrements of the government in raising rais-ing its new army. As soon as Anshordoguy Anshor-doguy heard of it he came direct to Ogden to get straightened out. Officials Offi-cials of the hoard are puzzled as to how to get the Frenchman properly registered and have taken the matter up with the district board. Anshordoguy Is- a sheepman. He gave his birthplace as Bidarray, France. |
