Moore of the Moore & Scott Iron Works, a shipbuilding ship-building concern now constructing millions of dollars worth of ships for the government "We cannot meet tho demands of our men for a 50 per cent increase In wages in view of our contracts con-tracts with the government and the next move will have to come from Washington," he said. He intimated that the increase would be paid if the federal authorities authorized such action. ac-tion.
