Show oo REFRESHING THE SOLDIER BOYS With, the Southern Pacific and Union Un-ion Pacific railroads taxed to the limit lim-it to transport freight, the havy movements of troops from the west to the ports on the Atlantic may be confined con-fined to the northern and southern routes. Such is the opinion of a well informed Red Cross worker who has reached the conclusion that Ogden will not be called on to offer refresh- j ments to any great number of soldiers en route to France. From American Lake the troops will go over the northern roads and from Linda Vista the "Sunset" and Santa Fe will be used, "while the "Overland route" pulls the freight. But, regardless of that possibility, let us go on with the plans to have youn ladies meet the troop trains and extend to the boys the hospitality of Ogden. The idea is rich In devotion to those who are about to sacrifice so much for us. |
