Show ELIZA J. PORTER IS GRAFTED DIVORCE Eliza J. Portor, wlfo of William L. Portor, of Jofforson avenue near Twentieth street, was granted a decreo de-creo of divorce by Judge A. E. Pratt during the closing session of Judge Pratt's court It was brought out In tho testimony that the husband had drlvon James W. Porter, his 18-yoar-old son, away from home on January 15, 1917, using a stove poker to enforce his ordors for tho boy to leave tho house. It was also alleged that he had been guilty of extreme cruelty to Mrs. Porter. It was stipulated in the decree that Mrs. Porter should receive one-third interest in the homo place, valued at ?2500, on Jefferson avenue; that she should receive one-half Interest in the household furniture and one-third interest in-terest in 50,000 shares of Eureka-Northern Eureka-Northern Utah-Nevada Mining & Milling Mill-ing company stock, which the plaintiff plain-tiff and defendant had a Joint interest inter-est in. Mr. and Mrs. Porter were married September 8, 1897, and have one son of their own, James W., who elects to live with his mother, besides an adopted adopt-ed son, James Vincent Alexander, 14 years of age, who is now residing at the Porter home on Jefferson avenue.
