Mr. and Mrs. E. i F. Tout and familv have moved to the city for tho winter and are located on Riverside drive. Mr. Tout still spends part of his time at their summer sum-mer home in Amltville, L. I. Their daughter Margaret Roumaine is in Boston the star in a new musical comedy, com-edy, "Her Soldier Boy," which made its initial performances at Philadelphia Philadel-phia and Boston and will open in New York in the near future. The youngest daughter, Eleanor, has a second part In the same play. Hazel Dawn has taken up the real stage again and is rehearsing for "The Century Girl." which opens at the Century theatre November 6. Miss Irene Strong has returned from the west, where she was called recently recent-ly on account of the death of her father. She will spend tho winter with her sister, Mrs. Stuart Kohn. Paul B. Talmage was a Sunday visitor visi-tor in New York, en route from Scran-ton Scran-ton to Philadelphia, where arc located the headquarters of the East Pennsylvania Pennsyl-vania conference. R. W. Eardley. secretary of the Manufacturers' Association of Utah, spent the past week in. the metropolis. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Scowcroft and son Joseph, Jr.. of Ogden are at the Astor. Their daughter. Miss June, who Is attending the National Park seminary at Washington, D. C, came up from the capital to spend the weekend week-end with her parents. Many Utahns gathered at tho Gar-rick Gar-rick theatre to witness the rendition of two one-act Mozart operas in which Lucy Gates formed one of an all-star cast. The performance was such a success that four additional performances perform-ances were given this week. L. R. Eccles of Ogden is in New-York New-York on business. Mrs. Eccles has beon at the Astor for some time. They were entertained over Sunday by Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wright at their new home at Kew Gardens. Mrs. Devlne, who accompanied Mrs. Eccles east, is visiting her mother at St, Louis and will join Mr. and Mrs. Eccles at Chicago Chi-cago and from there they will travel west together. A. B. Apperson of the United Slates Fuel company of Salt Lake is registered regis-tered at the Biltmor. Miss Ines Matthews, who spent the past year as a missionary for the Mormon Mor-mon church in Charleston, W. Va., has beon transferred to Brooklyn, where sho will continue her missionary work. M, S.
