Show BAMBERGER HITS AN AUTOMOBILE Judge J. A. Howell on Pioneer Day was driving his machine down Twenty-fourth street with his three children chil-dren sitting in the front seat with him. When he got to Lincoln, he turned quickly arouncj the Forestry building corner, just In time to meet an incoming in-coming Bamberger train. The judge saw instantlj' that a collision wns Inevitable. In-evitable. Momentarily releasing the wheel he tossed the three children into in-to the back seat, knowing that the front end would be the first to be destroyed. The train hit the automobile automo-bile and skidded it along the track for a short distance but failed to upset up-set it. oo |
