Show 00 LOVETT 10 PARTY El ROUTE EAST R. S. Lovett, chairman of the executive ex-ecutive board, and B. L. Winchell, director di-rector of traffic, and E. E. Calvin, president of the Union Pacific System; Sys-tem; C. C. Stillman, vice president; E. E. Adams, consulting engineer, and W. A. Whitney, superintendent of transportation, of the Union Pacific railroad, and H. V. Piatt, vice president presi-dent and general manager of the Oro-gon Oro-gon Short Lino railroad, passed through Ogden this morning, cn route to Omaha on a special train. The special was in charge of Mr. Whitney, acting in his new capacity as superintendent of the Wyoming division divi-sion of the Union Pacific. He came to Ogden yesterday on train No. 67 and remained in the city over night, meeting meet-ing the other officials at the local terminal upon their arrival from Salt Lake City. While here, ho visited with local officials and made an inspection in-spection -of the Union Pacific properties proper-ties in the union terminal. |
