The local team, which is headed by George Wessler, is considered a big d! awing card In the outside towns, and, In addition to the game tomorrow, is scheduled for games next Saturday Satur-day and Sunday. These games, a sia gle or. Saturday and double-header on Sunday, will be played at Greon River, Riv-er, Wyo., as the feature of a big civic celebration. The traveling lineup of tho Utah Power & Light company team Includes the following players: Duncan, catcher; Scott, Morgan and Shipley, pitchers; Cole and Fagan, first base; Vandlver, second base; Butterfield, third base; Wessler, shortstop; Williams', McStewart, B. Shupe' and L. Falck, outfielders. George Wessler, a formeY member of the U. P. & L. team and Harold Stone formerly of the Utamades, are now playing with the Devil's lide club. In addition to the ball games to be played, the Green River celebration program will Include a boxing match between Battling Oman and Joe Behun and a dancing party. |
