Show FARMERS SEEK TO IK EXHIBIT For refusing to mako an appropriation appropria-tion to defray expenses of a Weber county Tarm exhibit at the state fair, county commissioners yesterday were criticised in resolutions adopted by the Weber County Farm Bureau. Tho resolutions stated tho action of the commissioners had been based upon a misconception of conditions. The reason advanced for refusing to make tHc necessary appropriation was an alleged falluro of crops. The farm bureau directors say the crop failure is in -fruit alone. It was pointed out that only 2,300 acres of land are devoted to fruit culture, while 45,000 acres are devoted to agricultural. agricultur-al. The general farm crops have been good and the farmers claim a general farm exhibit that would have been a credit to tho county could have been made. Tho farm bureau directors lato adopted a resolution holding it to be the attitude of the Weber county bureau to encourago members to do business with those banks and busi- ness houses that support and favor the movements to hetter the agricultural interests of the country. As a result of information received from the advance representative of the federal farm loan bank board the bureau directors were authorized to take charge of plans for obtaining information to be submitted to the board when it visits Utah next Wednesday.
