Show AUTO ACCIDENT. Nephi. Utah, April 13 County Commissioners Com-missioners P. J. Fennell and Perry 11 Fuller were victims of a serious accident acci-dent last evening while on their way from Eureka to Nephl. When cross Ing the large hollow In the northern part of the city the stoerlng rod on the motor car broke and the machine became uncontrollable Running to the edge of the bridge, It tipped over, landing In the bottom, more than seven sev-en feot below. The commissioners, who were In the car, were thrown out. Mr. Fennell escaped with slight injuries, but Mr Fuller, who was the first to strike the ground, and furnished protection for his friend, sustained several Injuries The fender of the car struck his leg, and at first it was thought to be broken. Drs. Rees and Rees were called, and after examination found there were no bones broken nor In ternal Injuries, as was at first thought. Mr Fennell was able to attend the regular session of the commissioners, but Mr. Fuller was confined to his room in the hotel until the afternoon, when he took the train for his home at Eureka. |
