WELSH AND WHITE TO MEET IN DENVER New York, May 27. A twenty -round bout will be fought in Denver, July 5, between Freddy Welsh, world's lightweight champion, and Charley White of Chicago, waa tentatively arranged ar-ranged here tonight, when the managers man-agers of the two fighters, it was announced, an-nounced, agreed to compromise the differences in terms which have interfered in-terfered with the clinching the match, Word was only awaited, it waa said, as to whether the compromise terms would prove acceptable to the Denver promoters of the match.
