Show ORATORS ARE TO BE HEARD DURING THE WEEK That there will bo no relaxation in the cross-fire of oratory on the issues of the campaign was indicated today in preparations of Republican and Democratic campaign organizations to bring other speakers of prominence into the city and county within the next several days. No announcements as to the iden. tity'of the Republican speakers were made from Republican headquarters, but D. D. McKay, chairman of tho We ber county Democratic campaign committee, com-mittee, stated that he had received word that ex-Senator Town of New York, who Is touring the country in the interest of the campaign to re. elect President Woodrow Wilson, would speak In Utah on October 25 and 20. Every day and night next week will be consumed In Democratic oratory at some point in the county. Arrangements Arrange-ments were completed today whereby Milton H. Welling, of Boxelder county, Democratic candidate for congress from the First district, and Judge William Wil-liam H. King, Democratic candidate for United Staates senator, will fill an itinerary of speaking engagements that will take them into every district of the county. Wednesday, Judge King will enter the county, speaking first at Harrls-ville Harrls-ville at 2 o'clock and Warren at 4 o'clock. Both Welling and King will speak at Slaterville and Plain City at S o'clock. On Thursday, Welling will bo heard at Farr West at 2 o'clock. King will speak at Rlverdale at the same hour. They will alternate at North Ogden and Pleasant View at 8 o'clock. On Friday, the 13th, Welling will speak at Liberty at 2 o'clock and at Huntsville at S o'clock. King will speak at Uinta at 2 o'clock and at Roy at 8 o'clock. At a primary in the Wangsgaard hall in Huntsville last night Democrats Demo-crats of that district nominated Peter M. Jensen for justice of tho peace, and Arthur W. Grow for constable. . rr. |
