Show Deaths and Funerals RUDD Mrs. Charlotte E. Page Rudd died yesterday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lottie E. Greenwell of pneumonia. She was a pioneer of Utah, having crossed the plains in 152. In 1868, she came to Ogden and had lived here since that time. Mrs. Rudd was born In Chester county, Now Hampshire, October 30, 1843, the daughter of William and Hopzlbah Pierce Page. Crossing tho plains with her parents, sho was baptized bap-tized Into the Mormon church at Alpine, Al-pine, Utah, shortly after reaching the settlement. The deceased passed her life In the doing of good, having been an active church worker, a good neighbor and a loving wife and mother. moth-er. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Greenwell; a sister, Mrs. Mary L. Wolstenholme of Kamas, Utah; three grandchlldron and three greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. The sister reached Ogden Og-den shortly boforo tho death of Mrs. Rudd and was at the bedside of the pioneer when she passed away. The funeral announcements will be mado later. |
