A Socialist, who does not sign his name, writes the Standard, inclosing a clipping from one of the Socialistic papers, complaining that the Associated Asso-ciated Press discriminates against his party, citing tho case of Mr. Hanly, Prohibition candidate for president, whoso train Is accompanied by an Press correspondent, while the Socialists Social-ists cannot get mention of their national na-tional speakers In tho Associated Press newspapers. In a footnoto, the communication to the Standard says: "Wo expect some Socialist news in the Standard, or we will find a paper that will give us the news." Last week tho Standard conducted a straw vote, and inadvertently omitted tho Socialist candidate. No sooner was the vote announced than the paper was called up and asked as to the omission.
