Show oo MARGARET W. YOUNG DIES AT AGE OF 78 Salt Lake, Oct. 4. At the age of 78 years, after a long 'illness, Mrs. Mar- JM garet W. Young, a resident of Utah for about sixty years, died yesterday fl afternoon at her residence in tho Covey apartments. Funeral arrange-ments arrange-ments have not yet been completed. Mrs. Young, whose maiden name IJ was Margaret Whitehead, was a na-tive na-tive of England. She emigrated to J Utah when 15 years of age and ever IH since had made her home in Sale IH Lake. She was the widow of Joseph A. Young, the eldest son of Brlgham IH Young. Her husband died about for-ty for-ty years ago. One daughter, Ellie, died in child- IH hood. The only other child Is Major Richard W. Young of this city. There are nine grandchildren and nine IH great- grandchildren surviving. Ma-jor Ma-jor Young is now out of the city and. the funeral arrangements will not be IH made until word is received from him. For many years of hor life prior to ill health, brought on by advancing years, Mrs. Young was an active, able and zealous worker in the primary as-soclations as-soclations of the Mormon church. |
