Show Tii IE ARRIVING FROM BLOCKADED !!. P. DISTRICT "The storm is over and everything is clear," was the report from all points on the Wyoming division of the Union Pacific this- afternoon received at local offices. In connection with the report came the word that the blockaded trains of yesterday would reach the Ogden terminal this afternoon after-noon and evening. Train No. 1, the Overland Limited, was the first scheduled to arrive here, the time being 3:40 p. m., and the others were expected to follow No. 19, reported in at 7 p. m. Last night the temperature on the division ranged from 4 to 26 degrees below zero, the lowest point being reached at Alta-mont, Alta-mont, a station near Evanston. At Rawlins sixteen degrees below zero was registered. News from Cheyenne stated the snowfall was not very heavy at that place, but that a high wind had drifted It upon the traefks faster than it could be cleared away. Today, however, the gale was subsiding. In Ogden last night thermometers at the Union depot registered 4 degrees above zero, the lowest point, and the United States weather bureau thermometer ther-mometer on top of the city hall registered regis-tered 2 degrees above At 7 o'clock this morning the thermometer stood at 2 degrees above zero. |
