Show SHAMROCK IV MAY ENTER RACE New York, May 13. The statement by Sir Thomas Lipton that he hopes to race his yacht Shamrock IV for the American cup next year recalls the tact that tho challenger is still carefully boxed and under guard on the Brooklyn water front. Ameiican yachtsmen know no more about tho lines and construction of the challenger than they did when tho sloop appeared off Sandy Hook a few ueeks aftor the declaration of war. There appears to be llttlo chance that the Shamrock IV, will be uncovered uncov-ered during the coming season.
