Profit-taking by holders continued today to have a weakening effect on the wheat market mar-ket here. The disposition to make further realizing sales was largely due to reports from Liverpool that buyers were holding off in anticipation of reduced re-duced vessel rates, presumably from Argentina. On the other hand, a leading lead-ing authority predicted that Argentina Argen-tina shipments would be light. Opening Open-ing prices, which ranged from 1-i to 1 1-1 c lower with May at $1.35 to 1.3G and July at $1 25 3-4 to 1.2G, were followed by a rally, but then a fresh decline. Unsettled weather threatened to cut down receipts made corn prices firm. After opening l-403-8c off to a shade advance, the market scored moderate general gains. Oats hardened with corn.
