HOME AND NOISE AWIKENSM The home of George McBride. at 2258 Moffit Lane, whs entered by thieves Wednesday night, according to a statement made by Mr. McBride today One thief was seen by the head of the household and another by a neighbor after being frightened away by Mr. McBride. The robbers entered the house through a window on the south Bide and, the first intimation inti-mation of their presence was a noise made by a phonograph horn being pushed across a table heard by Lillie McBride. Startled by the noise. Miss McBride went out on to the sleeping porch and from there made her way to her father's fa-ther's room and arouBed her father. After listening a minute or two, Mr McBride made his way upstairs and saw one of the men as he went out the window. This morning Mr Mc Bride found a mask made out of a handkerchief, with blood on it, but does not know whether the robbers visited the house again last night |
