Rio Grande and several Utah mining companies, w ho was shot and serl -OUSly wounded Monday alternoon by Gregorlos Pologeorgi. was in a much Improved condition last night, according accord-ing to a report from the Holy Cross hospital. Dr. A. J Hosmor who Is attending him, says that barring serious development? devel-opment? his patient is now well on the road to recovery. Yesterday Mr Skllris was able to converse to some extent with members of his family who have been In constant attendance at his bedside. Herbert Van Dam .Tr assistant county attorney, will make an effort to obtain a statement of the circumstances circum-stances attending the shooting from Mr Skliris today Until such time as the statement Is obtained no action will be taken in the case against his assailant,
