The Frankfurther Zeituug asserts as-serts that the Bulgarian government has Issued a manifesto to the nation announcing its decision to enter the war on the side of the central powers This manifesto, as quoted from tho T7 l.r...ll.. !. ... V... Un ftunr. seas News Agency, states that Bui garia would commit suicide if she did not align herself with Germany and her allies. The manifesto as given out by the news agency follows- "The Central powers have promised us part of Serbia, creating an Austro-Bulgarian Austro-Bulgarian border line which is absolutely abso-lutely necessary for Bulgaria's Independence Inde-pendence of the Serbians Believe German Promises. "We do not believe in the promises of tho quadruple entente. Italy, one of the allies, treacherously broke her treaty of thirty-three years. We believe" be-lieve" in Germany -which is fighting the whole word to fulfill her treaty with Austria.- "Bulgaria must fight at the victor's side. The Germans and Austro-Hun-garians are victorious on all fronts. Russia soon will have collapsed entirely. en-tirely. Then will come the turn of France, Italy and Serbia, Bulgaria would commit suicide if she did not fight on the side of the central powers, pow-ers, which offers tho only possibility of realizing her desire for union of all Bulgarian peoples." The news agency says further: "The manifesto to the people, which is not only an historical document, but contains valuable material in regard re-gard to Bulgarian politics and economies, econo-mies, states that Russia is fighting for Constantinople and the Dardanelles, Darda-nelles, Great Britiin to destroy Ger-morw'c Ger-morw'c pnmnptli inn. Serbia Is Worst Enemy. "The manifesto says that Serbia, the worst enemy of Bulgaria, has oppressed op-pressed the purely Bulgarian population popula-tion of Macedonia in the most barbarous barbar-ous manner, the male population being be-ing compelled to die for Serbia's cause, tho women outraged and the rivers running red with blood."
