Show WITHDRAWAL OF THE AMERICAN SOLDIERS Vera Cruz, Nov. 23. American embarkation continued throughout through-out the morning with no sign of disorder. dis-order. General Funston has turned over to W. W. Canada the American consul, copies of all records of the military" administration of Vera Cruz, but no single department was formal ly turiifd over to the constitutionalists constitutional-ists General Funsto nprevious to embarking, em-barking, went over tho situation with Col. Edmundo Martinez, who has been in Vera Cruz for some time as the personal representative of General Candldo Aguilar, on whose staff he i6 serving. Safety of Americans Guaranteed. Mr Canada today called on Colonel Martinez, and Mr. Canada exacted a promise from General Aguilar's agent that no Americans are to be bothered in any way and that tho safety of all Americans be guaranteed. Colonel Martln'Z appears to believe that thera Is no "rfause for apprehension on the part o any foreigners.
