ATTACK EAGLESON'S ELECTION IN COURT Boise. Idaho. Nov 25. The rlgnt of John W Eagleson, Republican treasurer-elect of Idaho, o assume of fice as the legally nominated and ; elected treasurer of this state will be attacked In the courts. It was learned on excellent authority that two prominent attorneys of this state ! havo been employed as counsel to contest the Inauguration of Eagleson, and that papers In a suit are now being be-ing drafted, which will within a short time be filed in the courts. The action will be based on the grounds that Eagleson's nomination ' was null and void and of no eifect in that the state central committer ; of the Republican party, without au thorlty vested in it by the laws, I placed him In nomination after the date for certification by the secretary of state of the regularly nominated candidates for all parties to the auditors of the respective counties of the state had passed, and through an alleged certification of his nomination after that date had his name placed on the official ballots through the use of stickers These, It Is charged, were pasted over the name of O. V. Allen, self-confessed embezzler of state funds, who had been nominated at the primary' election to succeed himself as the party'3 candidate for treasurer. on
