Show PIONEER WOMAN DIES AT AN ADVANCED AGE Salt Lake, April 24. Mrs Eliza A. McKelly, a pioneer of 1853, died Wednesday Wed-nesday night at her home In this city at the age of 81 years For sixty years. Mrs Kelly hail been a resident of Utah. She wa3 born in Dover. Kent. England, November No-vember 29, 1832, and came to Utah with one of the pioneer handcart companies com-panies in 1853, arriving October 6 of that year. At the time of the coming of Johnston John-ston s army she went on foot with a party of others to Provo, where 6ht made her borne for some time Mrs McKelly is survived by one daughter, two sons, fifteen grandchildren grandchil-dren and seven great-grandchildren Her sons are William H Greenlg, 545 Brldport street, and John S Greenlg, 276 J street. Her daughter, Mrs. J, W. Hanes, also resides at 276 J street. |
