Show SURGEONS MUST SIGN A PLEDGE New i'ork, N Y.. Jan. 10. Each fellow fel-low of the new American College or Surgeons, 1,060 of whom were elected by the board of regents at a meet ing here yesterday, must sign a pledge. This pledge follows: "To avoid the sins of selfishness; to shun unwarranted publicity, dis honest money-seeking and commercialism commer-cialism as disgraceful to our profeo-sion, profeo-sion, to refuse utterly all secret niou ey trades with consultants and practitioners; prac-titioners; to teach the patient Ins financial duty to the physician and to urge the practitioner to obtain his reward from the patient .openly.
