Show RESIGNATION OF RECEIVER St. Louis, July 4. Benjamin L WincheJl, resigned as receiver of the St. Louis and San Francisco railroad at a conference in the Chambers of Federal Circuit Judge Sanborn yes-terdnv yes-terdnv afternoon. Mr. Wlnchell made the resignation public last night. Soon after the conference Judge Sanborn left for St. Paul The resignation of Mr. Wincheii was accepted, it Is said, and In the samo quarters, it is staled that W, 1 C. Nixon and W. B. Blddle, vice preo- I ldents of the road were appointed M jH I receivers. In this capacity they are H j to serve with Thomas H. West, chair- Rj H j man of the Board of Directors of the St Louis Union Trust company which In tho past has handled the Frisco's I finances. H The acceptance of the resignation, I it is said, followed a conference be- tween Sanborn.
