Show ASK FOR LARGE SUM FOR THE CITY PARKS According to a request sent to the city board of commissioners this morning, the city park commissioners commission-ers have planned t0 spend $11. Tin on the parks for 1919 The park board reported the expen dlture of something more than $7000 I tor parks In the year 1912 The report of the secretar of the board shows the total receipts for the ear 1912 to have been $7820.82; the disbursements $7008.92: cash on hand December SI, 1912, $871.40. There Is I balance of appropriated funds on I ! hand In the sum of $440.60. The demand for funds for the ensuing en-suing year was as follows - Improvement of Monroe I'ark $ 8,000.00 For parking Monroe park.. 1,00000 Ground for paik in southwest south-west part of city and for playgrounds there 2,000 00' Improvement of Liberty Park 730.00 Payrolls for all parks .. ..
