Show ADVISES THAT HIS SON GO TO JAIL Acting on the request of his father that his son be given a Jail santengc with the view to weaning him from his evil ways, AJlle Anderson. :J years old was senten ed to 3n days In the city jn 11 by Judge Reeder this morning. The young man pleaded guilty to the charge of petty larcen having taken four pool balls from the billiard hall of U A. Smyth on Twen ty fifth street. According io Sergeant 0 h Mobi man, the boy has been associating with companions of questionable na ture for some time and has frequent ly been drunk during the past few weeks The sergeant further stated that many of his churns use cocaine and are addicted to other vile pr.v ticcs The father of the younn man has been unable to control the bo and believes that a jail sentence will lo him good Anderson could give no reason why he took tho ool balls, except that tie was drunk at th time lie had tried o sell them in oile-r Millard hall proprietors) pro-prietors) but was unable to do so.
