In yesterday's revolt more than 200 persons were killed The populace did not know earl today whether President Madero had fled from the Capitol With a following follow-ing of loyal troops said to number 1000 he took refuge in the national palace yesterday but it was reported ai daybreak that under the cover of night he had fled toward the eastern coast, taking his family with him. It was also reported that all of the members of bis cabinet had resigned re-signed Madero's Flight. The report of his flight was gh tl credence, although it was without continual ion. His decision to close the capltol. it was said, was du to (eneral Blanquet's refusal to stand by him General Blanquet arrived last night with a small portion of his troops supposedly loyal to Madero. but he refused to fight against General Gen-eral Felix Diaz Since the arrival 01 Blanquet's force the bridges between the capital and Toluca have been bu rued It Is recalled that during th, Oro.- co rebellion Madero stated thai be' would remain in the government pal-; ace as long as possible and then, with' whoever remained loyal, he would j transfer the seat of government to the hills In the south, where he would keep up the fight lor constituted government gov-ernment To Return With Troops The city apparently was not convinced con-vinced today that Madero would not be able to return to the city with enough troops to wrest from Diaz and; his mutinous followers the power which they secured yesterday.
