Show OPENING OF A NEW HOTEL IN OGDEN The Briirham hotel at Twenty-fourth Street nnd Wall avenue was opened H. 'this morning for the reception of V guests this morning and Manager Theodore Gorle believes that he has a prosperous year before him. The place was thrown open for the inspection inspec-tion of the public and soon was rilled 1 wirh admirers II The hotel which contains about 60 rooms, is of the latest fireproof design, de-sign, only the doors and casings being of wood. The floors, walls and stairways stair-ways are of concrete reinforced with steel The concrete floors are enameled enam-eled and covered with rugs of such thickness that absolute quiet prevails ; even though numerous persons walk up and down the corridors All the rooms are elaborately fur nished and everything has been planned plan-ned for the comfort and convenience of the guests In the lobby are leather leath-er chairs and settees and bookcases Mr. Gorie who was connected for ten years with the Healy hotel and who has had wide experience as a hotel man, is exceedingly proud of Ills hostelry He states that the roof garden will be opened within a few weeks |
