Show ENTERTAIN CHILDREN Mr and Mrs. E. W. Nowcomb entertained en-tertained a number or their friends Saturday evening at their home on Nob Hill. The party was given espe daily for the children In spite of the bad weather about 80 or more were present in response to the invitation to the children's par ty The evening was given over to music, mu-sic, games and shadow pictures which consisted of the Witches' Hance '' a reading and shadow pan tomlne of the "Ballad of Mary Jane, " the flosslpK Drinking Tea, ' the Bach elor Mending His Sunday Clothes" and the "Tooth Pulllhg" all of which produced Jollity among tho3e present both youfig and old. Following the entertainment, re freshments were served appropriate to the occasion peanuts, popcorn, candy and apples. |
