COUPLE ARE A loaid TRIP george wagoner a well to do farmer of columbus nebraska and his wife passed through ogdon last evening on their way to rupert idaho to visit with their youngest son who la a school teacher there mr wagoner Is 83 years old while bis wife Is 74 and except for their gray hair would not be taken to be more than 46 so sprightly did the old couple seem as they d away the time at the union depot waiting tor their train that a bystander ventured the remark to them where are you young people going to which mrs wagoner replied we have been married only 62 years and we thought we would take a wedding trip yer see eald the old gentleman we have rented the farm down at columbus and mary and me are coln out to travel a bit and were a feelen just about as young as we ever did gosh how them young fellers down at denver did stare at mo when they saw me around the depot there to look after the gol darned baggage bag gago when they found out I 1 83 years old why you could a knocked their ayea off with a stick well things aint much like they used to be I 1 can knock iho socks off any of them young fellers the old farm yet dam blast their souls they git up on them riden plows to plow corn and they cant do it as well as I 1 can afoot a foot hey mary come on catch that train and get on toward rupert idaho
