H that no less than fourteen different H fresh water fish, varying from a bar- H ber ot seventy pounds to the culper, or H burrowing perch, of less than a quar- iH ter ot a pound weight, exist In tho H Transvaal streams, the latter being tho H only fresh water fish of tho country H known to tnko a fly The most com- H mon specimens, however, aro the twen- H ty-pound yellow tall and a thirly-flve H pound nondescript sort of fish which, H merely require hooking and hauling H out with an ordinary cod line.
