ON TRIAL FOR BURGLARY lanice and madison are before the district court the criminal docket lias been bakeri up in the second district court and all criminal cases will be tried before the civil cases are taken up the first case to comp up being that of robert lunier and robert madison charged with attempted burglary A jury was secured and gus hansen detective pender and sergeant chambers examined for the state before the time of adjourning court for tha noon recess the two men were arrested by sergeant chambers on the night of september on information furnished by mr hansen and charged with having attempted to burglarize the land say meat macket the two men had gone into ohp lemp saloon and borrowed a screwy driver from mr hansen saying that they wished to repair a bicycle after he had given the mea the tool for which they asked it occurred to mr hansen that a screw driver was a peculiar tool in the repairing of a maycle so he investigated and found trying to pry open the door of the meat market ho telephoned at anc tor the police and sergeant chambers responded and placed the men under arrest it is expected the case will be completed this afternoon
