been reporter of the decisions of the court but as yet his successor has not been appointed abo resignation of mr thompson was handed co ahe court last evening and placed on alle in it mr thompson expressed appreciation of the treatment accorded him by the court and stated that he had just completed volume 28 of the utah state reports waca seen by a reporter air thompson stated that he had nothing to say for publication in regard to his resignation except that he had informed the court about the first ot the year that he would resign as soon as he completed volume 28 this work was
