up tomorrow find ask the senate to consider it morall chairman of the finance committee notified the senate that the was opposed by every republican of th committee the bill went on the calendar following is the full text of the sab erimie section 1 that from and after the aee of this act the mints of the united states shall be open to the coinage of sil berand there shall be coined dollars of the weight of grains troy of standard silver nine tenths alne as provided by the act of january 1837 and upon the game terms and subject to tho limitations and provisions of abe law regulating the connace and beal tender quality ot gold and said coins herein provided for hall be received into thal treasury cerlin cates may be issued thereon in the mp now provided by law bee 2 of abe treasury ahall coin into silver dollars as boonas practicable ti according to the provisions of cec tion 1 the silver bullion purchased under the authority of the acton ruly entitled an act directing cue purchase of silver and dueis ue ot treasury thereon and fur other cs that portion of said dilver acil iain which re presenta the or profit to the government cowit the difference between abe cost of the silver purchased under said act and its coinage value and said silver dollars so coined in pigment of the current expense of the government and for the purpose of making the said mediately available as money the secretary of the treasury is hereby authorized and directed to issue silver certificates it as it it were already coined and in the treasury sec S that no national bank note shall be hereafter issued for a denomination less than 10 and all notes of suan banks now of denominations less than that sum shall be as rapidly as practicable taken unredeemed up redeemed and and notes of 10 and larger denominations be issued in their stead under abe direction of tha comptroller of the currency section 4 that the secretary of the treasury shall redeem the united states notes
