Show YOUNG MEN CHARGED WITH TWO ROBBERIES Salt Lake, Dec. 26. Three youthful holdups committed two daring robber-' les in half an hour early yesterday morning Al Hess, the first victim, was relieved of $2.S5, the holdup occurring oc-curring at First North and First West streets. Tho next robbery was committed on State street, Just north of Eagle gate. David Philips of Mid-vale, Mid-vale, was compelled to give up $27 as he faced the eloquent end of a large revolver. Sergeant Emil Johnson took the trail of the holdups in the fresh snow and followed it in a long detour through the eastern part of tho city and back into the business district. Three sus- ! pects were arrested last night. They ' gave their names as E. Wlnquest, 20 years of age; George Moore, 22. and William Sculley, 2). They have been . partially identified by Mr. Hess and ! the police will ask Mr. Philips to 1 come from MIdvalc to look at them today. |
