Show CHIEF HAS A NOVEL PLAN For Protecting Inauguration Inaugu-ration Visitors From Horde of Thieves. Washington. Dec. 26. Miniature rogue galleries in hotel lobbies, railroad rail-road and steamship stations nnd other oth-er places where the Inauguration crowds will be heaviest are innovations to be proposed by Major Richard Sylvester, Syl-vester, chler of the Washington police, po-lice, ae a means of protecting inauguration inaug-uration Jsltors against thieves and confidence men next March. Major Sylvester proposes to secure a gallerv of about 500 pictures of pickpockets and other criminals, recently re-cently arrested in different sections of the country The photographs will be reproduce so fliat complete galleries gal-leries may be maintained at many different dif-ferent points where the public can study the features of questionable persons per-sons who may be mingling in the big crowds that gather for President Wilson's Wil-son's induction into office.
